that's the outfit I wore but with different boots.
Last night, I patronized this little(not really) place on Sunset called the Roxy with Messrs.* Caroline and Chava. People my age know it for Spin the Bottle, the all ages dance party that is held every Monday this summer. It's an awesome opportunity for the underaged to go clubbing to their little hearts' content.
This week, vitaminwater sponsored a DJ battle. A couple of the DJs were impressive, but I was left bored by the majority of them. There were some guys throwing water at the mosh, resulting in my getting thoroughly soaked. Of fucking course.

Summer has a way of transforming us into night dwellers. Indeed, I am developing this syndrome, what with summer school work and being able to sleep in. That there photoshoot was
the spawn of a bored and lonely night. But out of boredom comes inspiration! You see that top I'm wearing? It's true form is a dress, like so:

It was my graduation dress, though I'm staying at the same school. Though it's not very clear, my hair is up in it's fauxhawk, which is currently hibernating due to too much hair on top (HAHA I know, I have no hair, whatever). Now, back to work on summer school, and then dance class.

Album of the Week #1

Hello again. I decided that I'd regularly feature an album every week so I can review it, and so you guys can get a glimpse of my musical tastes. This week:

The Dead Weather- Sea of Cowards
Where to start... This is the second Dead Weather album out, and I LOVE IT I CANNOT STOP PLAYING IT OMGOMGOMG.
Please excuse that lapse in my composure. But seriously, everything about it just works. The songs just kind of flow together in a really psychedelic way. Not only is the music slick, distorted, and of high fidelity, the cover art, the jacket of the case, and the dark and almost churchy(?) vibe of it adds a whole other layer. And need I say it? Well, all right.
This is a modern day ubergroup that are combining their talents to create music that I'm proud to call my favorite.
Favorite songs: Blue Blood Blues, The Difference Between Us, Looking at the Invisible Man, Old Mary

All's Fair When You Are an Asshole

I'd like to settle an internal conflict I'm having with myself, if you all don't mind. Who knows? It might be a mind-altering experience, similar to the pleasure of cocaine or other groovy hard drugs!
In reality, it's the clog dilemma. Sorry for the build up, guys.
These Miu Miu clogs are fine and dandy and acceptable. I guess.

These French chestnut destroyers are even higher up in my approval list.

No. I'm going to have nightmares about Renaissance warlocks dying and being reincarnated as salmon shoes.

Anyway, I had a little biking expedition at the beach yesterday with my sister. Whilst in Venice, I passed about 3 or 4 circles of people smoking pot. How simply delicious! But hey man, you deal with it if you want to see the rich Venice culture. Mind you, I don't recommend staying past dark.

Hey guys.
So, I'm new at this. I've been wanting to start a blog for a while, I was just too lazy to before.
I don't really know what this is going to be. A fashion blog? Music? Daily life? We'll see how this works out.
Some minor details: I'm 14, entering high school, living in Los Angeles, and easily distracted.
Sounds fun? I should hope so.
